In a galaxy not so far away... there was a pastor who had a crazy interest in Star Wars. In particular, making lighsaber props. I know that might sound strange, but he found many parallels in Star Wars to Christianity. He always found the "lightsaber" fascinating. To that end, he made a few of his own replicas over the years and wanted to share them with you.

I consider what I do to be no different than art for me. To me it is a form of sculpting. My sabers aren't perfect, copies or exact, but are good representations and can be used as stunt or prop sabers.

I work with aluminum, copper and brass rods and tubes. I have also made sabers out of a hard surface synthetic material made of a polyester vinyl semi acrylic with aluminatrihydrate, that has a matted aluminum greyish color, it contains an organic peroxide catalyst. It is NOT like traditional resins that are used to make molds. As far as I know, I am the only one that has used this material in this way to make sabers. I do NOT make molds of MR lightsabers!

Presently I am only making sabers out of metal now and NOT making out of hard surface material, but if you would like to try your hand at making your own saber and want to order a hard surface rod to turn on a lathe just let me know. You can see a picture of it on the bottom of my parts page.

I am presently cutting back on my lightsaber making. That doesn't mean that I am no longer interested in lightsabers, I just don't have as much time to make them and my body has taken on some wear and tear, especially my hands. I do make and sell them occasionally and can do some modifications, but please forgive me if I can't construct what you are looking for. I am a part of a number of Prop forumns and know a number of saber builders that may be able to help you out, so feel free to ask.

I have started a NEW project and that is selling Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade "Holy Grail Chalices" made by a professional potter out of terracotta clay and "Grail Diarys".
